Application
-Limestone, in chemical terms, is chiefly calcium carbonate and has a simple chemical composition. From their use in building dams to big monumental pillars, limestone is closely associated with everyone's life.
-Granite is a hard stone which is constituted with dense grains. It is a variety of igneous rock. Granite remained in molten stage for a long period and was later cooled deep inside earth's body. it is primarily used in decorating interior and exterior walls, building monuments, constructing statues etc.
-Marble is basically limestone that has undergone colour and structural changes remaining deep down the earth. Marbles are adaptable to polishing. Like granite they are also used in interior and exterior decoration, table tops, lavatory tops, novelty items etc.
-Slate is a sedimentary rock composed of clay or volcanic ash. The typical feature of slate is that it is fine-grained and the particles are uniformly arranged and are homogeneous in character. Slate can be split into thin sheets which helps them in roofing and internal and external flooring.
